Every year on June 1st the nation of Mozambique celebrates Children's Day! Thousands of children come from the surrounding villages to our bases to have a day of fun and food. It's such a blessing to be able to provide this for our community. Children come from surrounding villages to receive the love of Jesus in a way that looks like fun, games, and a feast of salad, rice, candy, and chicken!
After all of our visiting children head home for the day with full tummies and happy hearts, we continue the celebration with our Iris Kids with gifts, games, a pool party and lots of love from our whole Iris family! We are so thankful to the Lord and all of our amazing friends around the world who make it possible for us to feed and love on thousands of children!
